目的: The purpose of this Operating Procedure is to set forth the process for evaluating and recommending 设施 naming recognition to the 赌钱app可以微信提现 校董会 (the “Board”) for consideration.

“Significant Gift” means a contribution or history of contributions that distinguishes the donor as integral to furthering student success or otherwise enhancing the mission and values of the College.

程序:

I. 命名识别标准

A. 表彰财务支持的冠名

对赠予的财物或者其他具有经济价值的物品进行命名确认, the donor will be expected to make a Significant Gift either toward the development of a campus facility or, 另外, 支持学生, 教师, 学院的特别项目或节目. 当财政支持涉及承诺时, the College generally requires at least 20% of the total pledge to be paid prior to implementation of recognition. If a pledge is fully or partially unpaid contrary to the terms of the written agreement, the College reserves the right to rescind the naming recognition and is under no obligation to return any of the partially paid funds.

II. 设施命名程序

A. 提名

Recommendations for the naming of a Facility are to be submitted to the Office of Institutional Advancement using the 提名 for 设施 Naming form. 提名s must be accompanied by supporting documentation to provide the nominee’s personal background and history with the College and, 在合理可能的范围内, justification for consideration of the request as set forth in College policy and operating procedure.  

B. 委员会的委任

Submitted nominations will be reviewed for completeness by the Office of Institutional Advancement, 一旦完成, 转交给学院院长, 谁有接受的决定权, decline or request additional information prior to further processing of the nomination. If the 总统 determines that review of the nomination is in the best interest of the College, 主席将通知董事会主席.   1. Two members of the Board (typically one member will be the chair of the Management and Finance Committee or the Board treasurer);

  1. One administrative employee; and

C. 提交委员会的资料报告

The Office of Institutional Advancement will provide a report to the 设施 Naming Committee on the risks and benefits associated with the potential naming of the Facility. 该报告应包括:

  1. The perspectives of the College administration and other members of the community;
  1. Due diligence conducted, including any background or reference checks related to the nominee(s);

  1. Information on the costs related to the implementation and maintenance of the Facility and signage, 以及支付这些费用的潜在资金来源.   

D. 提名评审

The 设施 Naming Committee will review the report and consider the merits of the naming recognition opportunity or other request. In addition to the criteria set forth in the 命名学院设施政策.05和本操作规程, 委员会应仔细审议全权证书, 被提名人的品格和声誉, and the value to the College when compared to similar naming recognition arrangements. 

  1. If a two-thirds majority of the Committee supports moving forward with a recommendation, the nominee or the nominee’s representative will be notified of the potential naming recognition and a written agreement or conditions statement will be prepared and negotiated by the Office of Institutional Advancement to include the specific terms and conditions of the naming recognition prior to any recommendation to the Board.
  1. If a two-thirds majority of the Committee does not vote to move forward with the nomination, 进程终止, and the 总统 will notify the Board and the person(s) submitting the nomination of the Committee’s decision.

Approval of a naming recognition requires the affirmative vote of at least five (5) members of the Board. The decision of the Board will constitute final action on the recommendation and absent compelling circumstances, no consideration of such nomination may be made for a period of three (3) years.

A Facility name change shall be based on rationale listed in the 命名学院设施政策.并通过相同的过程寻求设施命名, 如本操作程序第II节所述.

IV. 保密及公开

A. 保密

在法律允许的范围内, the nomination and evaluation process shall be confidential until a nomination is officially presented to the Board for consideration.

B. 宣传

董事会批准后, as appropriate and pursuant to any applicable terms in the naming agreement or conditions statement, the College may publish the names of the donors for any naming recognition in College publications. 用于命名识别的标识由学院决定. 如果学院和捐赠者同意, the amount of a donor’s gift may be maintained as a confidential matter between the donor and the College to the extent allowed by Kansas law.
